And here we are! finally! After 3 long and boring sunday we are ready to play again! last week was a BYE, and the week before, it was cancelled because an insignificant rain. We are Titans! we can play under rain, snow, lava....

Anyway, time for play against Maroubra! Will this be our local derbi? Before we start to analyse Pagewood for this week, let´s have a quick look to the table!

- 6/9 in the table with 3 points

- 2 game lost and 1 victory

- 3 goals scored against 4 received.

We are right now 4/9 with 4 points, one game less pending for play. With the numbers in front of us, we should be able to play, and win. But this is not wonderland. We do have to play the game. And win.

This game is really important, because 3 points, will place us in the second spot, with a game less. In the hypothetical situation where we win today and our pending game, we will be 2 points behind the leader Heffron Hawks, with 12 points over 12 possible points. Red alert!!! we know now who is our enemy! 

If Pagewood is planning to be on the fight for the title, those 3 points against Maroubra United are fundamental.

Well, let´s forget about mathematics for a moment! Pagewood is a happy team so far. Everyone wants to play, and everyone wants to win. I could see this on our last training. Fun, jokes, some good ideas training, and  good attitude. Everyone starts to know a bit better the new players, and we look much more confident.

For the game of today, the team has to focus on the same points that we couldn't practice on the delayed game of 2 weeks ago. Those are:

- Pressure, starting from the strikers

- Possession and passing. Touch touch and touch again. In spanish, toca, toca toca! 

- Second line shoots. Jason was saying this on the training. Ross, Marco, Pete, Evan, Ian, Mr Kenny...etc etc. The midfield has to step ahead! 

So far, This team is been really solid in defence, and it´s improving every game. Today the expectations are there.
